Our Story

The People and Culture Team was created when our founder fell in love- with a startup. Tanisha has always valued stability, so getting an HR role at one of the biggest studios made her year! However, that excitement would dwindle over the years. She bounced around the different large companies until, one day; she decided to give this very cute but awkward startup a chance.

It was a match made in heaven! The startup reminded her that she valued belonging in the workplace and had been missing it for years,

although she worked tirelessly to help others feel they belonged.

Meet the Founder

Tanisha Rodriguez holds several titles, including but not limited to wife, mother, sister, friend, and now an entrepreneur. She has worked in the Media and Entertainment industry for ten years, transitioning from the financial sector, where she has over ten years of experience. Tanisha found her calling in Entertainment and Media after joining FOX. 

She managed all things Employee Engagement for Fox Networks Group, from creating affinity groups to launching employee programs. In December 2019, the bang was heard worldwide, the Disney-Fox merger happened, and Tanisha was brought to Disney to work with the Diversity and Inclusion team for Walt Disney Television. There, she continued her Employee Engagement work and added Change Management to her wheelhouse as she led efforts to combine legacy Disney affinity groups with legacy Fox’s to create a global framework. After leaving Disney to launch her own nonprofit- Sister Circle Media, she Joined Deluxe Media Inc as their head of Diversity. Though short, her last role as Head of People and Culture had the most significant impact on her and why she’s in this space now.

Creating belonging is the sole purpose for creating PAC TEAM and continuing that work via supporting Sister Circle Media. A portion of all proceeds from PAC TEAM goes towards supporting Black women in media and entertainment. Every contribution aids in amplifying the community stories and driving positive change.
